Coat of Arms

Hunstanton's Coat of Arms is a combination of the Coat of Arms of the Le Strange Family and the County of Norfolk.
Wavy Lines represent the Towns association with the Sea.
An heraldic beast and feathers on top of the Shield come from the Le Strange family crest.
The Lion is from the Norfolk coat of arms.
The Bottom Crown depicts St Edmund, the patron Saint of East Anglia.
The motto on the Coat of Arms "Alios delectare iuvat" is translated as "It is our Pleasure to Please Others"
